From the school's site

  • UT lists Early Action (apply by Oct. 15, materials by Oct. 22) and the regular deadline (apply by Dec. 1, materials by Dec. 10) for summer/fall enrollment. The page does not print the year. If Oct. 15 is behind you, the regular deadline is next. Source
  • UT requires at least one official SAT, ACT or CLT score sent by the testing agency and received by the deadline. Self-reporting alone does not count. Source
  • Supporting materials (scores, transcripts, letters) have their own deadline a week after the apply deadline. All materials must be received by it. Source
  • The transcript must show class rank. Dual-credit colleges must send their own official transcripts. Source
  • The Scholarship Interest Form is separate from the FAFSA and due Jan. 15. It appears in MyStatus only after you apply. Source
  • Housing contracts go in the order housing applications were received. Apply for housing as soon as the admission application is complete ($100 non-refundable fee). Source
  • UT does not accept documents or recommendations by email. Use MyStatus upload, Common App, or the listed services. Source
  • MyStatus opens 24-48 hours after you submit. Watch it for to-do items until the application shows complete. Source
  • Some first- and second-choice majors need extra items. Check each college or school site before the deadline. Source
  • Under 18? Use eProxy so a parent can complete steps that need a UT EID. Do not share the UT EID password. Source
  • Housing contract start dates differ between official pages (housing site: Feb. 15, on a page labeled for 2026-27; admitted-freshman page: March 1). Watch MyStatus and your email. Source

Dates come from The University of Texas at Austin's site, checked Oct. 24, 2026. Always confirm on the official page. Pathwise doesn't predict admission or write essays.
