From the school's site

  • UCLA has one filing window, Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, with no Early Action or Early Decision, and takes fall applicants only. Source
  • You type every course and grade yourself. Enter them exactly as on your transcript, not from memory. No transcript is sent with the application. Source
  • March 2, 2027 (California state date on studentaid.gov): FAFSA or Dream Act Application, plus the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form for California residents (the high school certifies GPA). Source
  • After you submit you cannot unsubmit. Activities and personal insight answers cannot be changed, and duplicate applications are canceled. Source
  • Arts and Architecture, Music, Nursing, and Theater/Film/TV majors need a supplemental application, and the major must be your first choice. Source
  • Fee waivers cover up to four UC campuses. Each campus you add costs $80, and fees are not refunded if you cancel. Source
  • If you enroll, final transcripts must be postmarked or sent electronically by July 1, and AP/IB scores by July 15. Missing them can affect your admission. Source
  • UC does not consider SAT or ACT scores in admission. If you report scores, you can only add them after you submit. Source
  • Use a personal (not school) email on the UC application and check spam. Campuses send time-sensitive messages. Source
  • One sentence on UCLA's first-year page says applications can be submitted 'October 1-December 1', but its date list and the apply page say November 30. Plan for Nov. 30. Source

Dates come from University of California-Los Angeles's site, checked Oct. 24, 2026. Always confirm on the official page. Pathwise doesn't predict admission or write essays.
