From the school's site

  • Texas State has not posted its Fall 2027 priority date or final deadline yet. Its deadlines page still shows Fall 2026 (priority Dec. 1, 2025). Check back before planning around a date. Source
  • SAT/ACT is not required if you are in the top 75% of your class. Fourth-quartile students must send scores that meet assured admission. Source
  • Your transcript must show class rank, or include a statement that your school does not rank. Source
  • The $75 fee is paid after you apply, through an emailed link (within 24 hours) or the Future Bobcat Portal. Pell-eligible freshmen can get a waiver or deferral. Source
  • Competitive freshman scholarships need a separate BOSS application (NetID required) after you are admitted. TXST lists Dec. 15 without a year. Source
  • Business (McCoy), Theatre and Dance, and Music have extra entry requirements beyond university admission. Source
  • Dual-credit colleges must send official transcripts electronically or through the National Student Clearinghouse. Unofficial copies are not accepted. Source
